Silver eyes reflect jewel restrained fingers

Fleeting grasps hidden under garish disarray   

Emerald thread – a lone invitation  

Milky eyes mesmerised by an ephemeral escape

Sea breeze bleeds through open windows  

Its deafening hum, out of tune

Free rein hides in shallow evergreen 

Their arcane language entwined in stagnant silence

Their portraits wither within the forestry

Ivy preseves a tarnished grave.
