Quran Text — Al-Mursalat

77:1 By those dispatched in succession.

77:2 And those that storm with turbulence.

77:3 And those that scatter far and wide.

77:4 And those that differentiate distinctly.

77:5 And those that deliver a reminder.

77:6 Excusing or warning.

77:7 What you’re promised is to come.

77:8 When the stars are obliterated.

77:9 And the sky is fractured.

77:10 And the mountains are blown away.

77:11 And when the messengers’ time has been appointed.

77:12 To what Day was it deferred?

77:13 To the Day of Sorting.

77:14 And what will make you understand what the Day of Sorting is?

77:15 Woe, on that Day, to the deniers!

77:16 Didn’t We annihilate the first ones?

77:17 Then We followed them up with the later ones.

77:18 Such is how We deal with the transgressors.

77:19 Woe, on that Day, to the deceivers!

77:20 Didn’t We create you from a base fluid?

77:21 And placed it in a secure repository?

77:22 For a specific period?

77:23 We determined, so how excellent We are at determining.

77:24 Woe, on that Day, to the forgers!

77:25 Didn’t We make the earth a receptacle?

77:26 For the living and for the dead?

77:27 And placed within it towering mountains, and provided you with fresh water to drink?

77:28 Woe, on that Day, to the rejecters!

77:29 Proceed to what you used to deny.

77:30 Proceed to a shadow in three columns.

77:31 It neither has shade nor can it shield from the flames.

77:32 It throws up sparks as towers.

77:33 As if they were yellowish camels.

77:34 Woe, on that Day, to the falsifiers!

77:35 This is the Day when they won’t speak.

77:36 And they won’t be permitted to present excuses.

77:37 Woe, on that Day, to the schemers!

77:38 This is the Day of Separation; We gathered you and the ancients.

77:39 If you have any strategy, then use it against Me.

77:40 Woe to the disbelievers on that Day!

77:41 The righteous will be amidst shades and springs.

77:42 And fruits of their choosing.

77:43 “Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.”

77:44 Such is how We reward the doers of good.

77:45 Woe, on that Day, to the deniers!

77:46 “Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are guilty.”

77:47 Woe, on that Day, to the rejecters!

77:48 And when it was said to them, “Bow down,” they didn’t bow down.

77:49 Woe, on that Day, to those who refuse!

77:50 Then in what statement after this will they believe?
