87:1 Praise the name of your Lord, the Most High.

87:2 He who created and proportioned.

87:3 He who determined and then guided.

87:4 And who brings out the pasture.

87:5 Then reduces it to withered stubble.

87:6 We will make you read, so don’t forget.

87:7 Except what Allah should will. He knows the manifest and the hidden.

87:8 We will ease you towards ease.

87:9 So, remind if the reminder benefits.

87:10 The reverent will be mindful.

87:11 But the most wretched will avoid it.

87:12 Who will enter the Gigantic Fire.

87:13 In which he will neither die nor live.

87:14 Successful is he who purifies himself.

87:15 And mentions the name of his Lord, and prays.

87:16 But you prioritize the worldly life.

87:17 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

87:18 This is in the earlier Scriptures.
