82:1 When the sky fractures.

82:2 And the stars scatter.

82:3 And the seas erupt.

82:4 And the graves are unearthed.

82:5 Every soul will know what it forwarded and what it deferred.

82:6 O man, what deceived you from your generous Lord?

82:7 He who created you, shaped you, and proportioned you.

82:8 In whatever form He willed, He assembled you.

82:9 Rather, you deny Judgment.

82:10 Even though there are protectors over you.

82:11 Noble scribes.

82:12 They know all that you do.

82:13 The righteous will be in bliss.

82:14 And the wicked will be in Hell.

82:15 They will enter it on the Day of Recompense.

82:16 And they won’t be absent from it.

82:17 What will make you understand what the Day of Recompense is?

82:18 Then, what will make you comprehend what the Day of Recompense is?

82:19 It’s the day when no soul possesses anything for another soul, and the command on that day is entirely for Allah.
